A bit about me:
I have been working in the mental health field since obtaining my bachelors degree in psychology and counseling in 2006. I served as an on-call counselor and case worker for young children and adolescents for five years before completing my MSW from Portland State University. Over the next 7 years, I worked in the non-profit sector as a therapist and supervisor of residential and outpatient treatment programs. Over the course of my career, I gained experience providing therapy to families, adolescents, adults, and couples. However, managing organizations also meant spending a lot of time away from the people I wanted to serve. In the end, I decided to open my own practice and go back to my first love: working directly with clients.
I work to reflect my values into the work I do, which means fostering clients' self-efficacy, autonomy, and collaborating with them on the course of their treatment. My top priority is to create
an environment where you will feel respected, heard, and comfortable.
I am in network with Optum, Cigna and Anthem, and can also accept clients through the Sondermind Network.

I am an EMDR-C (certified) therapist, and provide EMDR therapy for PTSD and trauma-related mental health challenges.

I utilize evidence-based practices to assist clients in managing a wide range of mental health problems, including depression, anxiety, substance abuse and trauma. I specialize in trauma-based therapies, motivational interviewing, IFS, CBT, and ACT.

I offer supervision services to clinicians seeking CAC/LAC credentialing, LCSW and LPC licensure. I provide consultation to organizations about clinical documentation and curriculum development.
If you are interested in starting therapy, please email or call me to set up an initial phone consultation.
Please note that I am only providing virtual/telehealth services at this time.
